Nothing dictates our health, or the lack thereof, more than what we eat. All food is medicine……it is either good medicine that makes you stronger and healthier or it is bad medicine that makes you weaker and sicker. There is no way to out work a bad diet. Consider this: one donut averages 200-300 calories…….if you run one mile, you only burn 100 calories. You would have to run up to 3 miles to burn off a single donut. The best way to get control of your weight is to only eat what God made…….and lift weights 4 days a week. Muscle increases your basal metabolic rate and improves your insulin sensitivity…….muscle is a natural fat burner…….it is one of the best defenses we have against obesity because muscle burns calories 24/7. But you must also change what you are putting in your mouth…….muscle alone will not get you there…….gyms are full of muscled up fat folks…….a healthy physique is made 80% in the kitchen and 20% in the gym. Make 2025 different………if God made it, eat it, if He did not, do not…..and lift weights for 1 hour 4 days a week. If you will do those 2 things, you will be much healthier and stronger by summer.
